Best Graphic Novels for Kids

Graphic novels are a great way to immerse kids into fictional worlds. The stories, environments, characters, and plots teach kids a lot more than just looking at pretty pictures. These novels aren’t like your regular picture books though. The stories are portrayed in a sequential and paneled-format where plots build through the series. The best part about getting your kids graphic novels are a large number of titles every year. It’s impossible to get tired of reading and the fun once they get their hands on it.

Why Will You Like This Product?

The book dives right into the story and Olga’s adventures. The first book introduced Olga to readers and set up the arc while this one gets straight to the good stuff.

2. The Breadwinner – A Graphic Novel

The Breadwinner narrates the story of a young girl Parvana who disguises herself as a boy to become the sole breadwinner of the family. It takes the young readers back to the time of the Taliban’s rule in Afghanistan and shows how the young girl lives in a single room with her family in an apartment that was bombed before.

Features

It’s an excellent graphic novel for older kids. It’s geared for 10 to 14-year-old, and we think, it’s best suited to teens who can relate or understand the emotions portrayed in the story. It’s definitely a book series for elementary students who are mature or cognitively ahead of their peers.

Why do we recommend these Products?

Children’s graphic novels open up new doors to your child’s thinking and imagination. The sky is the limit when it comes to escapes and adventures in fun-filled books. These graphic novels are also a fantastic way to transition your children from picture books into something else that improves their vocabulary, focus, and imagination. These are also perfect for group reads, and if you’re teaching a classroom, it’s a fun way to introduce them to the art of reading, seeing, and listening.

For a complementary spin, some of the characters in these books have their own action figures, plushies, and merchandise – so if you want your kids to cozy up, get comfy, and motivated to read, you know what to do. Since some of these installments have prequels or are ongoing, you can expect new content to come out instead of hunting for new reads (and that’s a bonus!)
